Dear Students
This Notice serves to inform you about the upcoming data allocation for all eligible students. Data will be provisioned to returning students who were registered for the 2024 academic year and do not have a Degree Complete (DC) status.
While we await confirmation from all Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) regarding a unified allocation date, we encourage all eligible students to ensure that their correct cellular phone number is updated on the Student Central Portal no later than 10 January 2025 at 13h00.
Please note the following:
- This data allocation is a once-off provision for registration purposes.
- Data will expire 30 days after the allocation date. Students are strongly advised to complete their registration during this time, as no additional data will be allocated for this purpose during this period.
- No manual updates to cellular phone numbers will be accommodated. Students are discouraged from sending their phone numbers via email.
The Data Team will send an email to all eligible students to confirm their cellular phone number. Please follow the instructions sent with this email to avoid any delays in the allocation process.
